9 month well-check

Today Phoebe had her 9 month well-check! Overall she’s doing pretty well. She’s been a bit congested and we asked about that. Turns out… she has a double ear infection! Poor baby! She hasn’t had a fever and hasn’t complained a bit, so I was a bit surprised by this revelation. Also, when we picked her up from daycare there was a sign that there were six cases of hand, foot and mouth disease. We asked about that and he said he had seen a lot of cases recently and told us what symptoms to watch for. I can hope that we will avoid that one! Now for the stats:

height – 29 in. – 90th percentile
weight – 20 lb. 9 oz – 75th percentile
Head circumference – 46.3 cm – 95th percentile

As expected, we still have a big baby! But, overall she is healthy and growing and developing well. We’ve got an antibiotic to fight the ear infection so hopefully we’ll be home-free on that front soon.

    Was she having sympathy pains for Lucky? What a good buddy! Poor little girl though, that isn’t much fun. She’s such a trooper. I hope she’s feeling better soon!

    Must have been! She is a trooper! I’m amazed that there have been no complaints over the infections. I’m very thankful to have such an easy-going (for the most part) little girl!
