April 24th, 2008 Posted in GeneralJust in case you needed to know… you can only get four 20 lb. bags of rice at Sam’s club in a single visit. Because, really, who goes through that much rice?
Oh, also Idaho and New Mexico is exempt from the rice restrictions. So in those states, you can buy more than 80 lbs of rice in a visit. Good to know.

I’m curious….. were you Trying to purchase more than 80 lbs of rice and they made you put a bag back?? I just have this mental picture of you with one of those flat beds loaded up with rice and the clerk saying, “Um, I’m sorry Ma’am but you can’t purchase a lifetime’s supply of rice. Against Sam’s Rules!” That’s funny!

That is a funny image. But no, I haven’t tried. I’m not sure I’d know what to do with 80+ lbs. of rice. I’m not sure I’d know what to do with just 20 lbs!
