38 weeks
October 2nd, 2007 Posted in pregnancy, updates
Today’s doctor update: still 1 cm 50% effaced. The baby is estimated to be around 6.5 pounds, so still not very big (yay), but healthy. Her heartbeat was 143. I was also told that they do not want me to go more than one week overdue. So the end is definitely in sight! I’ll hit 41 weeks on the 24th.
New health complaint of the week: My left hip is bothering me. Enough to the point I can barely walk. Rick seems to think I may fall apart before this baby is born. 
It is definitely God’s way to make me not want to be pregnant anymore. I can deal with it when I feel fine.
Oh, also overheard on the same day by three different people:
“I would have guessed you to be due another month out. You look great!”
“Are you sure there’s just one?”
“You look like you’re about to pop!”

this is aunt connie and i think you are the most beautiful niece there is. you look great. i love you. make sure we get a pic. as soon as you can. cant wait to get my hands on you and her. i love you baby.
