I love The Lion King….

The person responsible for The Lion King 1 1/2 should be dragged in the street and beaten.

I mean, it’s funny in parts, but there are some really annoying MST3K type scenes that break up the contiuity in any place where there is even a remote amount of suspense or emotion. Maybe I shouldn’t have high expectations for a prequel that was released direct to DVD.

Ok. They just started into the Hakuna Matata sing-along! That makes it all better, right :D

Bless NetFlix for allowing us to watch this on a lazy Sunday afternoon and not having to pay anything extra for it.

    I know! I mean, I watch a fair amount of reality TV and like it! (for those keeping score at home: Big Brother, Survivor, and every season of The Real World… yes, all of them)

    It was cute. I’ll give it that, but it just didn’t hold up to the standards I’ve put out there for The Lion King. You don’t mess with my Lion King! That said, I don’t think I’ve ever seen The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride and i would probably be just as disappointed with that one.

    Just give me a good Disney movie with great music to sing along with (Aladin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid)
