I hate taxes on consumption that don't bypass grocery items, because that puts an undue tax burden on the poor. 2. The sales tax is the only way to increase taxes without going to the voters in this area, who are too parsimonious and un-trusting to ever vote for an increase, despite the fact that our revenue base is one of the weakest in the country. As for the photo ... too bad Rick didn't wait a year to do the PE exam prep. ;) [Hey Rick, do you have your certificate yet? Too precious and priceless. We need another elementary, middle, and high school here in this area. Wonder if it will ever happen, considering we're expanding so rapidly.
